Thank you for shopping with BiltongMate. We strive to process and ship orders quickly and efficiently so you can begin enjoying your biltong experience as soon as possible.

Order Processing

Most orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days after payment is received.

Orders are not typically processed or shipped on weekends or public holidays.

During periods of unusually high order volume, processing times may be slightly longer. If a significant delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.

Shipping Methods and Carriers

We ship using USPS, UPS, FedEx, Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF), and other carriers as appropriate.

The carrier and shipping method used for a particular order are selected at our discretion based on the products ordered, destination, and fulfillment location.

Products may ship from different fulfillment centers and may arrive in separate packages.

Shipping Rates

Shipping charges are calculated during checkout unless otherwise stated.

For shipments within the continental United States:

  • Spice-only orders ship for a flat rate of $4.99.

  • Biltong makers ship for a flat rate of $18.99 per unit.

  • All other products, combinations of products, and destinations are charged according to the rates shown at checkout.

From time to time, selected products may qualify for free shipping promotions. Any such promotion will be clearly indicated on the applicable product page or during checkout.

Delivery Estimates

Most continental U.S. orders are delivered within approximately 3-5 business days after shipment.

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual transit times may vary based on carrier performance, weather conditions, customs processing, and other factors outside our control.

International Shipping

BiltongMate ships internationally to many destinations worldwide.

International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, customs fees, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by their country. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost unless specifically stated otherwise.

Delivery times for international shipments vary by destination and customs processing times.

PO Boxes

We can ship to PO Boxes when the selected carrier and service permit delivery to PO Box addresses.

Some products or shipping methods may require a physical street address.

Order Tracking

When your order ships, shipment tracking information will be made available through your order information.

Please allow time for tracking information to become active after shipment.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, delivery may be delayed, returned, or undeliverable.

Any additional shipping costs incurred due to an incorrect address, including reshipment charges, are the responsibility of the customer.

Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

To help us evaluate the claim, please retain the original packaging and provide photographs of:

  • The damaged product

  • The shipping box

  • Any visible damage to the packaging

  • The shipping label

Claims submitted after 14 days may not be eligible for replacement or reimbursement.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package has been accepted and scanned by the carrier, responsibility for delivery rests with the carrier.

BiltongMate is not responsible for packages that are lost, delayed, misdelivered, or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier.

Customers who experience delivery issues should contact the carrier directly to initiate a trace, investigation, or claim where applicable.

Shipping Delays

BiltongMate is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:

  • Carrier disruptions

  • Weather events

  • Natural disasters

  • Customs processing

  • Labor disruptions

  • Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer

  • Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
