After receiving your review, we contacted you directly to better understand the circumstances surrounding your batch. Based on our discussions, several aspects of the preparation method and setup differed from those shown in the Biltong Depot demonstration video, making it difficult to directly compare drying times.
Drying times can vary based on factors such as meat thickness, preparation method, cabinet loading, airflow, and humidity. Under typical conditions, drying times of more than a week for thinner cuts are not normally expected.
